About Lisa
I am a student who graduated Cum Laude from Dwight-Englewood (one of the most academically rigorous independent schools in the tri-state area) and Cum Laude from NYU. I achieved high scores (4/5) on exams including AP Literature, AP Spanish Language, AP European History, and AP Psychology. In addition, I maintained a 3.9+ GPA, having taken honors courses in literature, Russian, English language, history, and performing arts. Whether it is helping with homework or creating a study plan for AP/final exams, I am enthusiastic about helping students through the same material I've learned over the years.
I enjoy the fact that no subject or student is the same. Because I am a producer and have a background in the arts, I am passionate about consulting young students through challenging problems and making learning fun and invigorating, instead of a point of stress or anxiety. I enjoy working with all ages, and am an aunt of two small children, so no learning age is too young or old.

First, I'll assess the student's current standings in their class or study process. Then, depending on their learning style, I will adapt both to the demands of the material and the natural strengths and weaknesses of the student to create a course of study that effectively prepares them. I can also monitor the student as they do their homework to provide help only when it is needed, especially for younger students.
