About Rebecca
I have tutored ages preschool-college in English, Math, Sociology, ESL, Social Studies, and Psychology. I started tutoring 8 years ago. I have worked with students with special needs including Autism, ADHD, and Dyslexia. I was a coordinator at an after school for 4 years and am now an assistant director at an after school where I directly oversee the tutoring. I have helped students with reading comprehension who are, learning how to read, have dyslexia, or are ESL. I am currently getting my masters in Developmental Psychology and plan to pursue my PhD. I am certified preschool teacher and have certifications in working with children who have experienced trauma and homelessness.
I believe in empowering the student to reach their goals through self confidence and a love of learning.
