About Tom
I have helped people from the ages of 8 to 80 learn English as a second language. These people not only vary in age but also in origin; coming from very diverse backgrounds. I have helped children, men, and women from over 25 different countries become fluent in English. My system which was developed over 30 years ago has enabled thousands of my students to become proficient, if not fluent, With the English language!
I began teaching immediately after Completion of university when I moved to Japan and live there for several years.
I spent years living in Japan teaching English to people young and old, in all walks of life. I have also spent time in Brazil and Colombia teaching.

I teach my student a set of communication skills which will enable her to start conversing immediately, and these skills will improve her proficiency with the language dramatically in a short period of time.
Men, women, children from the age of 8 to 80. Some who needed to learn English for school, others for work, and those who planned on living in English speaking countries.
To be very clear of your objectives. As well as realistic concerning results.
I met one of my students who I taught over 25 years ago who is now living in Columbia and working as a professor Of English literature at a university in Medellin. I am so very proud of her!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Life is about priorities. A student should consider how important learning English is to them, and to what level they intend to reach. Ultimately, it comes down to the students desire to learn the language and how much time and energy they are willing to commit.
