About Nekoda
I love the process of learning a language! It is both difficult and rewarding at the same time. I have learned four languages now and would like to help others do the same. Learning new languages can open many doors in life, and I want to expand our langauge capabilities together.
I have been a Linguist for close to 10 years now and have been formally trained in Spanish, Turkish, and Russian. As a native English speaker, I really want to help foreingers assimilate better to American culture by strengthening their grasp of the language. Conversely, I would like to do the same for English speakers trying to expand their view of other world cultures by learning a new language.
I have been formally trained by the Department of Defense in Spanish, Turkish, and Russian. I have a degree in Spanish as well.

I'd like to know what their strengths and weaknesses are when it comes to learning. I would also want to know their preferred style of learning (auditory, visual, etc.)
I would like to know what particular area of a subject we are having difficulties with so I can think of how best to address those. Or if there is just a general desire to learn a topic, then I would like to know that as well.
I have primarily worked with military members learning foreing languages or leadership skills.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Identify how you learn best, that way you'll know if a teacher will suit your needs. Learning doesn't have to be a grueling process. The teacher-student dynamic is definitely something to consider.
