About Rebecca
Currently due to COVID-19 all tutoring is being done via video calls and e-mail.
I love seeing students have that "ah-ha!!" Moment when they suddenly understand a concept. It's fantastic.
I started teaching as a tutor through disability services in college. It was a challenging, interesting, empowering, and fun experience and I new it was something I wanted to continue to do.
I have worked as a tutor since 2001.

I like to get to know new students and found out what they are struggling. Everyone has unique strengths and weaknesses. You may be wonderfully imaginative so writing fiction is easy but your spelling isn't so great, and that's ok we can work on that.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
If you have a disability of any kind or English isn't your main language / you aren't strong in it be sure to bring that up first thing. If your teacher can't handle teaching a disabled student or ESL student then they aren't the teacher for you. You deserve to be treated with caring and respect and you won't get that from someone who treats you like a leper.
