About Jahnavi

I'm a current college senior majoring in Health Sociology, with minors in Health Care and Musical Studies. If you're looking for someone to help your child get a more solid footing in subjects related to Essay writing and Social Studies, I'd love to offer my help!

Whether it's Sociology, Health Sciences, or Vocal Performance, there's always a method to the madness. Although balancing all my loves has gotten more complex with each year, I hope to continue to find that balance and use my passions to help effect change in the lives of others, as all three of my lives are intrinsic to the week being of our society.

I am currently studying for my BA with an Honors Thesis in Sociology. I have been a proficient writer throughout much of my educational career, and have tutored both recreationally, with peers in study groups, as well as through established routes such at the National Honors Society and internship at a local Elementary school.

About the lesson

Before meeting, a brief contact with either the student or parent/guardian to discuss the material to be covered or general goals of the session would be useful in order to assist me with preparing. If any class-specific materials exist (ie an essay topic, or study guide), these might also be useful to share. I typically am free on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 2-5 pm, and by advanced schedule on weekends.

I have experience teaching students ranging from 2nd grade through high school, and have also led peer study groups among my classmates.

My household took a day trip down to Joshua Tree National Park and got to safely spend some time in the great outdoors - it was wonderful to stretch out legs and get some fresh air after such a stressful year!

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ask yourself some tough questions! What are the problem's I'm currently having? What are my goals and why do I think I'm not there yet? What could I do better on my own, and what can someone else do to help me?
