About Arja
Regardless of what your current language level and age is, I’m happy to help you to achieve your Finnish language learning goals. I have experience on tutoring both children, teenagers and adults. During the meetings, I mostly use the language you’re learning. Depending on your language goals and desires, we can focus on fluent communication, grammar, work life Finnish, pronunciation or discussing various topics.
I’ll do all I can to help you to reach your language goals and stay motivated. Your personal goals become my priority. I’d like to make Finnish language an interesting hobby for you which you never want to quit.
Being a language tutor is my passion! I love to meet people, get to know my students, give my time to them and see them learn and become confident language users.

I build our meetings according to your preferences and skills. I have a strong experience of tutoring students of all ages by using Finnish only. I have seen extremely fast progress in students by using this method and therefore, I prefer to use this method as much as possible. Depending on how much time you'd like to use for studying, I will provide you with a variety of exercises as homework. I'm also available for you between our meetings if you, for example, have questions about the topics we're learning.
I have experience on tutoring children, teenagers and adults. Some have had no Finnish language skills to start with and some have been already fluent Finnish speakers. I'm willing to help you to improve and reach your goals.
Don't worry if we don't have a common language. Even if you're a very beginner, I'll guide you through a basic conversation. Let's make language learning fun.
