About NANCY
At Petals and Moss we create artful floral design, inspired by nature, with a natural grace and flow for your special occasion. Our materials are grown locally and foraged in the local woods. We use both dried and fresh flowers, lichens, barks, pods, and create pieces with an organic flair.
Having been a gardner most of her life, her passion for flowers and plants has grown into Petals and Moss. After studying floral design at the New York Botanical Garden , in the Bronx and Manhattan, she changed her career, formally in art, and has a passion for what she does! Operating a small shop in Red Hook, NY, she also does many weddings and events during the year. Understanding how to grow flowers, dry flowers, and care for them is what she does best. Pairing her artful eye with nature is her strength.
She will travel to you or you can come to her studio space. Weddings are done in the Hudson Valley and in NYC and surrounding areas. Destination weddings and events are also available.
