About Rebecca
The first priority to me when I teach my lessons is to make sure that my student is comfortable and having fun. The last emotion I want them to feel is boredom! Being interactive with students, I believe, is how kids learn most efficiently.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing your student's progress each week. Not only this, but I love the friendships I build with my students. Not only am I a teacher, but a friend!
One of my mentors knew someone who was looking for a piano teacher for her two kids so I took hold of the opportunity!
I have played the flute for nine years now. I have had lots of experience playing in band and orchestra. I am currently a second year student at Arizona Christian University studying Music Education. I also have taught dance to kids from the ages of 6-9 for 2 years and continue to do so!

The first lesson includes figuring out the skill level of my new student, deciding on a lesson plan, and then learn if there is any specific goal my student has in mind.
I have worked with kids from the ages of 5 to 9 years old. I am very open to teaching a bigger age range though!

Details
Typically, I charge $20 for every 30 minutes. If I have to drive 15 minutes or longer, it would be $25.
