About Malcolm
Former 4 sport high school athlete (football, basketball, rugby, and lacrosse), 2 sport collegiate athlete (football and rugby) at Pacific University Oregon. Recently moved to New Mexico, working as a middle school teacher. Football is my main focus but open to other sports I have spent time playing and coaching. Spent two years coaching college rugby, and 1 season coaching high school football. I also have spent two years training young athletes in Oregon and California. Two things allowed me to have success throughout my career: my technique/foundation was strong and my agility was on point. This is what many of my sessions would focus on. I also use walkthroughs as an opportunity to break down the game and the many scenarios a player will come across. I am also available to watch film of your athlete, watch other game film for breakdown sessions, review their Hudl, and give tips for recruitment opportunities. My expectation would be training 2-3 times weekly for whatever period of time we discuss. I love being able to share what I have learned from my coaches and trainers over the years. Xavier was great! My two boys saw him for a summer in 2020. Every practice was tough but my boys gained so much from seeing what it takes to be a standout athlete. My oldest is now going to be a two year starter this fall and my youngest will be starting high school in the fall. Xavier did a good job of pushing each of them as individuals. My boys couldn't be more of opposites and I think that Xavier did a great job motivating and pushing both of them separately. Would definitely recommend him to the parents of any aged athlete.
