About Julian
Former NCAA Division 3 quarterback and wide receiver (The College of Wooster). I have played and coached at the collegiate level. I have also worked with professional athletes. What makes me different? I focus on the details of biomechanics to help maximize athletic efficiency. I also enjoy focusing on maximizing mental efficiency. I have been through multiple injuries so I have knowledge and experience in recovery and rehabilitation. I have a bachelors degree in biology and persuing a doctorate degree in physical therapy. I have a published research paper that investigates ACL rehabilitation.
2021 Offensive Coaching Stats:
- #7 Passing offensive in the NCAA (Div. 3)
- #5 Passing QB in the nation (Div. 3)
- #12 in NCAA in passing touchdowns (Div. 3)
- Multiple WR's with 200 yard games
- 10 School records broken
- Top 40 nationally in total offense and points (Div. 3)
- 1 Division 3 All-American (TE)
- Individual quarterback stats: 3227 passing yards / 33 touchdowns / 323.7 pass yards per game
I enjoy establishing an open and equal line of communication among myself, the athlete, and others involved. I want to be able to work together rather than be strictly being coach and student.
I have always had a passion for teaching, but I never truly got into detail with it until college. I torn my ACL going into my senior season so I was unable to play. Instead, I became an assistant quarterbacks coach and head of offensive quality control . I focused mainly on throwing and running mechanics. For example, our quarterback mentioned he wanted to improve on his throwing mechanics so we worked together privately after practice and on rest days. Along with our training I helped him rehab a fractured wrist he sustained early in the season. He had his best season to date and I knew that I could help others achieve their athletic potential.
I have a bachelors degree in biology, I am persuing my doctorate in physical therapy, and have been training all my life in multiple sports, so I am very knowledgable about the human body. I have a high understanding of body mechanics allowing me to educate and train athletes on how to maximize efficiency and prevent injuries.

I will first ask what the athlete would like to work on or improve the most. After that I will have them perform a short preliminary workout to identify what inefficinecies we can improve upon to help achieve their desired goals.
All ages at all levels. I have worked with grade school, middle school, high school, college, and professional athletes.
A student must be able to adjust to change and do things outside of their comfort zone. They must also be able to understand that while my training can help with short term goals, it is designed to lay a foundation of long term development.
Recently, I have been shadowing to get observation hours in order to apply for graduate school. This summer I was shadowing a physical therapist in Tempe, AZ and I got to work with some amazing clients. This physical therapists has his sports specialist certification and I was lucky enough to work with an olympic athlete. I helped rehab and train Afghanistan olympic 800m runner Wais Khairandesh who is currently the Afghanistan national record holder.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about their long term goals in order for us to work toward a common goal.
