About BoMin
Hello! My name is Bomin from Korea, and I’m currently studying Biotechnology and Education at Monash University. Teaching is something I’m genuinely passionate about. I love helping students understand complex ideas, build confidence, and achieve their goals. With two years of experience teaching Cambridge (Years 7–11) and US Curriculum (Grades 7–9) students, I’ve learned that every learner is unique. My lessons are designed to match each student’s pace and learning style, making studying both effective and enjoyable. I believe education should inspire curiosity, not stress! Hi parents! I’m currently studying Biotechnology and Education at Monash University, and I’ve been teaching Cambridge (Years 7–11) and US Curriculum (Grades 7–9) students for two years. I love helping students truly understand what they’re learning — not just memorize — and gain the confidence to do well in school and exams. For Years 7–9, I focus on what students are learning at school. Since every school uses different books and follows different syllabuses, I always check the school’s materials first. This helps me know exactly what to review and strengthen. Because school teachers set the exam papers, I guide students to focus on school content first, while using my lessons to revise, clarify, and fill any learning gaps. For IGCSE students, I teach according to the official Cambridge syllabus. I cover one topic at a time, give topical questions and practice tests, and later focus on exam skills and answering techniques to boost confidence before the exams. For US Curriculum students, my lessons focus on critical thinking and applying knowledge to real-life situations, helping them connect what they learn to everyday life. Every student learns differently — and I adapt my teaching to match their pace and style. My goal is simple: to make learning clear, enjoyable, and effective!
