About Leticia

I am a college student, tutor, teacher's assistant, and teacher. I have been in the education field for about 5 years now. I have experience working with low income families and aiding them by making sure their children, my students, are succeeding. I have taught a whole class of about 30 children on a normal day and groups of 6-8 students during the pandemic as well as one on one if they need more help. I'm also a sports coach so incorporate physical activities in between their learning to keep them energised and healthy during these times.

About the lesson

My teaching method is unique for every student. I analyse how they attack a problem or question first to know what level I am working with and for me to decide how to approach this student. many students have developed learning disabilities and social anxiety due to the pandemic so I am very patient with their progress but diligent with them succeeding. I am easily able to adapt to your child's way of learning and working our way up from there. I like to reward students for their progress so incentives are included with their success. I strongly believe credit should be given where it's due and these students deserve all the credit they can get for looking past the pandemic and making the effort to succeed in their academics. The worst thing this awful time can bring us is hold us back. hold our children, which are our future, back. I am determined to make sure every one of my students stays on track and is successful during their time with me.

$18 per hour if I am doing in-person at my home (covid-friendly) or location of my choice.

$20 per hour if I am traveling to your location of choice or home for more than a 5 mile radius.

$15 per hour if we are meeting via video call. I can meet online via ZOOM, Google Duo, FaceTime, or any other suggested video stream.

If you wish to pay me by the week: price varies on amount of hours per day amounting to the week.
