About Rose

My service stands out because I aim to make learning productive, enjoyable, and rewarding. I am fluent in French and attended The Lycée Français de Chicago from the age of 3 to 8th grade. I then attended high school at Francis W. Parker, where I became a teacher's assistant to all French courses. What is different about me is that I have been taught a wide variety of subjects in both English and French. Therefore, I would confidently be able to assist English speaking students as well as French speaking students.

I'm currently am a junior at The University of Iowa studying Psychology. By reading many published studies that evaluate the success rate of various teaching methods, I've acquired knowledge regarding which teaching methods prove to have the highest success rates. I use this knowledge to make sessions as beneficial and worthwhile as possible.

I believe that knowledge is created to be shared. I want students to not only memorize, but understand and be able to use their knowledge in future tasks.

I love seeing students grow and increase their knowledge. Although, what I love most is to see a student feel confident and proud of the work they've accomplished. If I can use my own skill set to help others succeed, I am passionate and determined to do so.
