About James Scott
Professional pianist and French player teaching through both formal and exploratory styles. Providing a wholistic approach to music playing, improvisation, understanding, and love, instills an appreciation for all music while gaining all the skills needing to become the musician you want to be.
At only 37, James Scott has been playing professionally for over 25 years and studied music at both Oberlin and McGill, giving him a wealth of musical experience and knowledge he truly enjoys sharing.
By combining technique, theory, performance, and improvisation, he pushes not only your ability but creates an entire framework of understanding for greater musical world.
With years of professional performance experience along with both Bachelors and Masters in Orchestral Frech Horn, I bring the highest level of training and knowledge to pass on to my students.
