About Claire
I’m a graduate of Chapman University with a bachelor’s in French, and the recipient of the Kugelman Award for Outstanding French Major. I’m also half Belgian, and grew up conversing with my father in French, so it is somewhat of a native language for me. I’m a relatively new tutor, but am passionate about sharing my love for French and English literature with students while helping them both achieve their own goals and be the best student they can be. Confidence is key for optimal learning and I do my best to foster this in all of my students. Finally, I can adapt to the student’s style of learning and make adjustments where necessary, and of course am open to parent feedback.
