About Nailah
I am very patient, kind, and encouraging. I want to make sure students really understand the material, and learn it in the best way for them.
I love helping others learn and understand new subjects. I am proud to be able to help students in subjects they used to find difficult.
I started by helping friends and family. I love helping friends, family, and people in my community.
I have a B.A. in Math from Brandeis University. I minored in French & Francophone Studies. (I was in a French Immersion program, so I've been learning French since second grade, and I'm now fluent. I've written several essays on French literature. I can help with speaking, reading, and writing skills.) I can also help with reading and writing English.

First I'll see what they need to work on, how much of the subject they already know, and which way they learn best. We'll go through any previous assignments and that will tell me what we need to focus on. I'll make personalized study materials like practice quizzes, flashcards, or diagrams. I'll see which methods work best and adjust as needed.
