About Kaitlyn
I use a variety of digital learning tools to expand my students' vocabulary, reading and spelling skills, and overal confidence in speaking French. I cater every lesson to each student's personality and learning style. Figuring out how a student learns (visual/kinetic/auditory) is imperative to having a successful lesson. My top priority is that students enjoy the learning process, since motivation is the key factor in language learning. I also send additional online games that I make individually for each student home for practice in between lessons.
I enjoy the whole teaching process! I love creating all my lessons myself, and I love seeing how my students respond to them. I love adding in fun extra things that seem like simple games but are actually reinforcing vocabulary or grammar concepts. I also simply love the French language, and I hope that my love for it comes across to my students and gives them energy. Students always feed off of their teachers' attitudes, and so I think having a happy and upbeat attitude while teaching is incredibly important.
