About Veronique

I specialize in helping you get confidence to allow you to use what you know in French and improve from there.

Being French, living in Michigan since 2015, I have been in your shoes and know very well how shy we can sometimes be when it comes to express yourself in another language.

The experience is one of a kind that opens up a whole new world in front of you.

I have been teaching all kind of people who are keen to refresh their French and rock it.

Firstly, I truly love meeting people, and I found out that every time I am teaching someone I am also discovering a very interesting person. And it's a joy for me to see someone grow in his/her learning.

Secondly, I am passionate about languages, and have been for a long time. I like finding out the roots of the words, their connection between languages, and how languages developed.

And finally, more than anything else, I enjoy building bridges between people, and learning a language is the best bridge you can get. Behind the language lay the culture, the below the surface beliefs, understanding of the word. I strongly believe that knowing the culture of others allow you to connect instead of rejecting what you don't know and fear sometimes.

At the beginning of my professional life, I taught remediation to different publics; along with my professional career, I coached a lot of staff members, and interns. I also had been a French substitute teacher in middle school, and now I have been teaching American people for more than five years.

About the lesson

Step 1: free lesson of 30 minutes to assess my new student level, needs and style of learning;

Step 2: I send to my student a tailored pdf lesson she/he need to study on its own, and we go over it during our Skype (or any other ITC) lesson;

Step 3: depending on the student goals, we set regular assessments of her/his progress going forward.
