About Chris
I have been playing golf since I was 3 and have played competitively since I was 9. I played 4 years at high school and finished tied for 11th in the 1A Virginia State Tournament. I also played 4 years at UVA Wise, which is a NCAA D2 school. I finished all tournament in 3 events with two 2nd place finishes, and a tie for 17th in another.
Some of my other achievements are winning the Member-Guest Tournament at my hometown course in Wytheville, VA (field of 72 twosome that included a player who qualified for the US senior open in 2017, a former Web.com tour player, a player who missed qualifying for the US Open by 1 stroke, and many other quality players). I also won silver medal twice in the Virginia Commonwealth Games for Golf.
I believe all of my experience playing and giving lessons while I worked as the assistant pro at the Wytheville Golf club will be beneficial to helping other out with not only helping fix their golf swing, but to better understand what happens in the golf swing.
I love golf and learning more and more about the golf swing and the aspects that go along with playing golf.

About the lesson

First we will introduce each other and I will ask what the golfer is having trouble with (ex. Hitting a big fade or poor contact with irons). I will then record a video of the golfers swing and analyze their swing. After the analysis of what the problem is, I then give the golfer drills that will help get a feeling of what they should be doing.
