About Isela

Winner of 30+ NCJGA Tournaments, NCJGA Tournament of Campions Finalist 1996, Junior World Participant 1997 - 42nd, Placed 3rd in California CIF 1996, Golf Scholarship Recipient to CSULB, NCAA Division 1 All American 98' & 99', LPGA T&CP 2003, LA Junior Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Service Award 2003 & Creator of S.C.O.R.E. I started playing golf at age 8 and was enrolled in golf camps across the state of California, including those hosted by elite golf university teams and was offered a position to help the younger players at local golf courses when I was just a Sophomore in high school. I went on to play NCAA DIVISION 1 golf on a full scholarship, finally attaining my LPGA status after college and have consistently taught and studied golf ever since.
I have a mastery level license to teach golf, a certification given by the Ladies Professional Golf Association indicating that I am a trained and educated with an expertise emphasis in coaching and teaching golf.

My typical process for working with a new student is to determine their existing knowledge and skill set and design a clear plan to meet the goals of the student.
I've worked with day 1 beginners both male and female, young and old with skill sets ranging from no experience all the way up to tour professionals.
Start with one lesson and make sure you have good communication and good results with your instructor before committing to long term lesson plans.

My rates are hourly and do not include the cost of range balls, those are purchased separately in the pro shop. Playing lessons are flat rate and do not include green fees.
