About Myles

My ultimate goal for every lesson is for the student to take away memorable positive feelings. I believe golf can be more than sport and recreation. A great golf experience can be psychologically, physically, and spiritually enriching. I each golf with the mindset of kung fu. Kung fu is any study that requires patience, energy, and time to complete. This is why I train the mind, body, and energy of the student to enhance and sharpen golfing abilities.

My favorite part about what I do is seeing the joy when a pupil hits a purely struck golf shot.

I got started teaching when I was hired to work at Bridlewood Golf Club. It was the right time in my life to pursue the teaching route, and they were looking for someone with my golfing background. It has been a great fit for me ever since.

I have over 30 years of playing experience which includes reaching the top 100 junior players in the country in Golfweek Magazine, a Division 1 college career at Drexel University, an extensive competitive amateur career, a caddie career, and currently finds me competing at the professional level. In addition I am Hank Haney Level 2 Certified, TPI Level 2 Certified, Superspeed Level 3 Certified, and a PGA Apprentice.

About the lesson

I first start by asking about their goals for their game and what is top priority. In any lesson, I’m looking for what the most effective thing I can do to help ability to deliver the club better and more consitently. I call this getting a good return on your investment. It takes work to in grain any swing change so I make sure that whatever changes we are working on are going to get you a great return on your investment.

My youngest student is 5 years old I started with her when she was 4, I have a retiree who has taken lesson from over 20 instructors through the years, ladies groups, scratch golfers, junior players, and high school and college athletes.
