I would be glad to guide you on your golf journey. With over 40 years of experience in the game and 12 years as a golf professional, I have helped players of all skill levels refine their technique and develop a deeper understanding of the sport. My approach starts with mastering the basic fundamentals of your setup, then progressing to key elements like backswing mechanics, weight transfer through impact, and achieving a well-balanced follow-through.

I have worked extensively with both beginners and advanced players, and the most rewarding part of coaching is watching students grow and improve on the course. Beyond the physical and technical aspects of the game, I emphasize the mental side of golf—helping players build confidence, focus, and resilience.

For parents, I want to highlight that golf is more than just a sport—it’s a tool for developing essential life skills. Through my coaching, I instill values such as etiquette, discipline, responsibility, honesty, patience, and self-control. I also work with students to enhance their mental and emotional strength, ensuring they gain not only golf skills but also lessons that will benefit them in life.

Ever since I was a boy, I had a natural talent for analyzing swings and identifying mistakes. There are countless common errors golfers make when swinging, and I focus on correcting these within the first two lessons. From there, I help each player develop a swing that suits their unique physical abilities and playing style.

I am a United States Golf Teachers Federation Level III Certified Teaching Pro and have been working with students for more than 13 years now.

About the lesson

First, I review with the student their fundamentals in order to know where they are as a golfer. Then, I ask what their goals are in order to develop a plan to begin with. My objective will always be to make the student enjoy how they are performing at the golf course.

I have worked with beginners, mid handicappers, scratch amateus, NCAA Division 1 college level golfers and senior PGA Pros.

The advice would be to be open to understand the knowledge that I will provide. It is basically gold!!! I want to make you a better golfer or at least make you enjoy it! You will be competitive in golf for the rest of your life. The sooner you take lessons, the quicker you will want to go out there and rip every course you play.

I always participate at the TPC Event in Ponte Vedra.

Perfect! Just did my first lesson with Javier I’ve had a few different golf coach’s through my childhood till now one of which was the head golf pro at a highly regarded private country club here in Jax and I can say coming from someone who has been around the game from a young age this guy is legit I came in with a very specific problem and he broke it down to the fundamentals first which is what you want and the only thing you can ever ask for in a coach he pointed out my grip right away and fixed it from the first shot after doing a few practice swings and making a few adjustments my ball flight was exactly the way I wanted it we still have a lot to work on trying to make my way to a single digit handicap or if I can put the work in scratch golfer but I’m extremely grateful I found this gem of a coach and excited to take many more lessons with him!!
