About Sofya
Hi!
My name is Sofya Anokhina. I'm a former student athlete (proud Sun Devil) who is pursuing professional golfing career and sharing the love for the game and experience through coaching.
I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia where I have developed my love and passion for the game of golf. I started my collegiate golf journey at Norther Arizona University in 2015. After setting multiple school history records and winning 7 collegiate DI golf events I took a chance and transferred to Arizona State university from which I graduated in 2019.
Over a decade of practices, hard work on multiple aspects of the game, lots of ups & downs made me realize that I'm willing to share all of priceless lessons I have been taught by the game of golf. I have a great passion and desire to help golfers of all levels to fall in love with the game more than they ever had as well as become better on and off the course.
I love to see people realize that golf is not a game of perfect and yet it is the most exciting and addicting sport there is :) I love to see the joy on players' faces when something clicks and golf balls goes where it was desired. I love working on mental aspect of the game at all times!!! It ALWAYS goes along with technical aspects of the game.
