David turned professional after leading his college golf team to a California State Championship in 2004. He has honed his instruction skills over the years with many hours of golf schools, lessons, and junior programs. He has learned from some of the finest instructors in the country and is excited about passing along his knowledge to his students. David is the Director of Instruction at the Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort.

David is a PGA Class A teaching professional and is also an accomplished player who has won six PGA section tournaments including:

• 2016 Desert Assistance's Championship

• 2016 Desert Chapter Player of the Year

• 2017 SCPGA Desert Chapter Assistant Golf Professional of the Year

• 2018 SCPGA Desert Chapter Associate Player of the Year

• 2019 SCPGA Desert Chapter Junior Golf Development Leader

• 2020 SCPGA Desert Chapter Professional Development of the Year

• 2020 GRAA Top 100 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional

• 2022 SCPGA Desert Chapter Teacher of the Year

• 2024 SCPGA Desert Chapter Player Development Award
