About Bob

I am a certified golf professional through the Professional Golf Teachers and Coaches of America association; and the assistant professional at Hueston Woods Golf Course where I give lessons at the course. I love working with all ages and skill levels. Beginners welcome! I was mentored by a 2-time PGA teacher of the year in Myrtle Beach, SC and want to pass on my knowledge of the game to my students to help them achieve their goals.

After playing at a high level personally and giving tips and mini lessons to friends, family and peers I fell in love with teaching the game and wanted to do it full time.

PGTCA certified

certified in golf fitting, assembly and repair by Maltby Clubmaking Academy through GolfWorks

About the lesson

There will be a short interview to get to know the student and the current status of their game. We’ll talk about strengths, weaknesses and goals they would like to achieve. Following will consists of hitting some balls and video to start a plan of action for improvement.

I have worked with all types of students. From juniors to seniors and from beginners to professionals.

With plenty of qualified teachers around, I’d advise any student to find a teacher who is passionate about teaching and one they have fun with. It can be a frustrating game and getting better is a process, so find someone who you like spending time with and makes it as fun as possible. After all, it is a game.

Any time a student reaches a personal goal is always a highlight. Love watching someone new to the game grow their skills and become hooked on getting better.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Take time to evaluate your current game and what short term and long term goals they would like to achieve.
