About Gordie

I spend the time with the student to develope a plan to achieve the students goals. I'm a big believer in drills to establish proper body movement thru out the swing

My enjoyment in my career comes thru seeing my students reach there goals an probably more start to enjoy the game of golf

Started teaching as a young assistant professional in the Midwest

Shadowed many instructors thru out career

Stepped away from game while raising my family

25 plus years as a Head golf professional/Director of Instruction

Just recently joined Arizona Junior Golf Academy

Perfect! Excellent great lesson, I had totally lost my game, went from 16 to 25 hcp, In one hour lesson he put me back in my game, right after the lesson I played and started with 3 pars, of course didnt go like that all the way, but shot 16 strokes less, than before, going out to try it again today, thanks Gordie.
Will take lessons with him again 👍🏻

Perfect! Perfect! Gordie has a nice basic approach on how to properly strike the golf ball. He breaks down your swing and doesn’t fill your head with an avalanche of information. It’s a straightforward method of teaching that has gotten my swing back on track.

Gordie is the nicest, funniest, and most helpful coach I’ve ever had. He helped my game so much I made my high school golf team after only playing golf for 5 months. He made me a 5 handicap after starting at a 15 handicap. I wouldn’t want any other coach. If you get the opportunity to work with him take it 100%. He is an amazing person and very intelligent coach. I 100% recommend him to any golfer trying to get to the next level.

Our daughter looks forward to her golf lesson every week and says she has learnt the most about golf from Gordon. His method of teaching allows our daughter to absorb the game in a relaxed and fun environment. He gives a lot of his time and always goes above and beyond to accommodate us.
