About Matthew

Short game is my passion and my best teaching and playing strength. I have have video lessons with full swing as well if needed. I have been teaching in scottsdale for 11 years now.

I love to hear how my lessons hit their best shot or played there best rounds. That is why I love teaching the game.

It's brings me great joy to make new clients as well as friends.

started teaching to supplement my income.

now I'm doing more than just part time.

I have a teaching certificate from the golf academy or Arizona

About the lesson

Interview is the first thing I like to do. I think it's good to figure out what the client is looking to accomplish with the lessons

i have worked with all types of golfers from 2 handicaps to 40 handicaps.

have giving multiple lessons to Major League Baseball players such as

Alex Cobb and Chris young.

just recently had one of my students break par in the back 9 for the first time. That is what makes this job great.

that kind of reward is why I love to teach.

Look at the results of his students. Look at reviews.

find someone that is close to you and that can translate the terms of the golf swing so the student understands it.

1 of my students shot his best round of 74.

when we first stated he was having trouble breaking 80.

another one of my students made an eagle on a par 4 it was 200 yard shot over a bunker. He was so happy and it made me so happy as well.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
what their goals are as far as what they want to shoot on the course in 6-12 months from now. Or are they just looking for a little tweak on their swing.

maybe they just looking for some help in the course with course management.
