About John

I have been teaching for almost 50 years and have awards for teaching that come from my fellow professionals six years in row before moving to the Palm Springs area. I teach at the college golf center in palm desert . I have students from all around the world who come to see me every season ,I hope I get the opportunity to help you.

My dad got me into golf !! I turned professional in 1968 and was an assistant professional and that's when I realized i had a passion for helping people get better!!!!

I have been a p.g.a. Member for almost fifty years and have gone to numerous seminars dealing with golf instruction! I was voted by my fellow professional as one of the top teachers six years in a row !!!

About the lesson

After introducing myself we sit and talk about what they would like to achieve !! Then we get started on basic fundamentals ! Grip , stance , posture !!!! Then we make whatever adjustments we need to for the student to improve !!!

I teach with kids as young as six to professionals and people from all over the world from all walks of life !!!
