About Anthony

Become the foundation of any band!

Are you are interested in improving your technique? Are you interested in learning a specific style of bass playing? Are you interested in studying jazz bass improvisation? Are you an electric bassist curious about learning to play upright bass?My lessons are tailor made to the interests, performance goals, and strengths of my students.

I am a professional bassist and music instructor currently living and working in Los Angeles. I play both upright and electric bass in numerous stylistic settings. With 15 years of experience on the instrument professionally, I have both a BA and Masters Degree in Bass Performance and Jazz Studies.

I am an experienced teacher in both a classroom environment and private, one-on-one instructional settings. I teach a variety of skill levels and age groups, from beginning students to more advanced high-school- and college-level players. My resume is available upon request.

I enjoy teaching!!! It's an equal vocation to my performance work. I truly believe that I grow as musician along with my students. I'm proud to pass on the tradition that my teachers so passionately passed on to me.

I have a Masters of Music in Jazz as well as over 15 years of professional performance experience.
