About Christopher

Students often end the lesson with a sense of accomplishment and return. I've taught many friends. Much of popular musical melody is rooted in the major and minor pentatonic scales. This gives you the key to exploring all kinds of music as your skill grows.

It makes people happy.

I have played music througout Europe and the United States. Lived in Italy for a while playing jazz and traditional tunes from sround the continent and world for that matter. I play all genres of music except proper Flamenco and Classical.

About the lesson

If a beginner, must know/learn first how to restring and tune the guitar. Once that is achieved, the student may ask to learn any style, any song. Otherwise, we will begin with the blues. We will listen to, learn and play songs. Each consecutive lesson will begin with a review and playing through what was learned previously coupled with new information in the last half hour.
