About James

I use a specialized method to that has been very effective in teaching the basic theory used in pop as well classical music. Students of all ages have used it to learn their favorite songs within a few lessons. The method makes learning scales and chords very simple and it doesn’t take them long to learn to play in different keys. It is also great for war training and even song writing down the road.

I love getting to help people understand music and therefore free them to tap into their creativity and express their personality through music. I subscribe to the philosophy of giving someone a fishing pole rather than a fish. If you teach a student a song, they will know a song until they forget how to play it; if you teach them music, they will continue learning and creating music long after they stop taking lessons. I want my students to become artists, not record players who can only play what is piece of paper or instructor tells them to play.
