About Steve
I teach guitar like a choose your own adventure book. I help my students build a string foundation in basic technique, and then help them decide which direction to take moving forward. I find that the best way to help someone learn music is to help them have fun with it. Some people have fun writing songs, some people like to sing classic country for their friends, and some people like learning to play lead guitar and jam with a friend or improvise a new lead to their favorite tune. After 20 years playing in all different sorts of bands in 5 different genres of music, I can help you do any of those things or all of those things.
