About Stone House Jam Academy

Accommodating Scheduling

Students learn better when they have regular lessons. Our office staff will gladly reschedule a lesson, send a video lesson or switch to online when a student needs to change a scheduled lesson time.

Concurrent Lesson Times

Five fully equipped lesson studios enables those who would like to have more than one lesson at the same time be accommodated. If not side by side, back to back.

We fully enjoy enriching lives through teaching music. Music lessons are interesting and fun when mixed with modern technologies and creative teaching methods. Computers, wall screen monitors and electric and acoustic instruments in each fully equipped studio, provide our teaching staff with the tools at hand to help make our student's musical journeys rewarding and fun.

All of our teachers are in continual learning mode and have formal educational backgrounds in music and actively perform.

About the lesson

All students are treated respectfully and with sensitivity to the style and pace at which they individually learn. We have standardized weekly assignment and progress reports and provide a detailed summary of the 4 week lesson period at the end of each period. Our culture is one of positive reinforcement and fun.
All ages, skill levels and with those having special needs. We are skilled in working with autistic individuals as well as those with physical challenges. We don't claim to be medical professionals, but we do understand and conduct ourselves accordingly.
We regularly provide entertainment for various organizations and care facilities in the area.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Music is a lifelong pursuit. Just connect with the teacher and the rest will flow readily. However, one must be willing to dedicate time to individual practicing.

Perfect! I enjoy the patient, encouraging, and professional atmosphere that Brian provides. As a person who has never played a muscical instrument before in his life, I am convinced I can do this.

I would highly recommend Stonehouse Jam Academy. My 13 year old son has been taking music lessons there for several years, taking both guitar and piano. I have been very impressed with the quality of the instructors and their genuine concern and enthusiasm for his experience, growth and successes. They provide lessons for almost any instrument and I know they offer singing lesson options as well although we don't. I've confidently recommended Stonehouse to my friends and know if many families with children studying there. Great spot for adults as well. Big thumbs up!

2 1/2 years ago, I started taking guitar lessons at Stone House Jam Academy. I was a complete novice at 67 years old. I found a great teacher in Matt Wirtz. He's been extremely patient as I struggled just to master the basics. We're finally getting to the point where I'm seeing some reward for the hard work. I would strongly recommend Stone House to anyone considering learning guitar. It's never too late. Only wish I started 50years ago.

The school is very comfortable and the teachers are friendly and patient. The office staff is most understanding about schedules and accommodating lessons. My grandson is learning drums and loving it!
