About Carl
My name is Carl McDade, my professional name is Carl Champion. I play Rock, R&B, Classical, Blues, Country, Jazz, and a variety of Ethnic Music. I am an active and young 71 year old musician. My current students ages 14 to 60, are from all walks of life and represent a vast variety of music tastes. I do whatever it takes to play music with confidence and have fun doing so.
I have more than 40 years as a professional performer/ music instructor and multi-instrumentalist. I am passionate about providing my student(s) individualized designed private music lessons toward successfully achieving his or her music goals.
As a guitar teacher, bass teacher, and violin teacher I teach students how to play, read and understand music and music theory. Aside from haven taught Music History as an Adjunct Professor, have taught private music
I have written published music instruction materials, and was featured in a popular music trade magazines. Many, many years ago when I lived in Las Angeles, I was a private music teacher in Beverly Hills.
