With over 30 years experience as a Full Time Musician, in both live and studio situations, as well as a private instructor with studio engineering experience, I have the unique position to learn and play a extremely diverse range of music. I am well versed in a variety of Guitar styles, including all styles of Rock and Metal, Jazz and Fusion, Country, Blues, Fingerstyle and more. My lesson program also includes a recording studio where students can record their music or ideas, play against backing tracks or learn studio techniques with Pro Tools, Toontracks, Superior Drummer, and a host of plug-ins.

Studied at Stony Brook University. 30 years experience as full time Musician, Studio Musician, Live performer and Instructor. In my formative years, I had the unique pleasure of studying with some of the top guitarists in the world, including Greg Howe and Tommy Emmanuel. I believe that you can NEVER stop learning, and constantly seek out new and cutting edge techniques and musical ideas.

About the lesson

I thoroughly evaluate new students to find out their goals as a musician, their level of expertise, musical taste and expectations. I craft my lesson program to their personal taste so they enjoy what they learn in a context that appeals to them.
