About Adrienne

We help people become the singers and musicians they want to be. Our vocal instructors specialize in commercial genres such as rock, pop, jazz, country, soul, R&B, and musical theatre, and our team of music instrument instructors will make it fun to learn bass, drums, or guitar quickly. We also provide services for vocal performers such as artist development, stage performance coaching, band coaching, songwriting lessons, demo song production, and performance opportunities.

We have seven teachers with different levels and types of music education and experience. Across our staff we have college and/or graduate-level study in vocal performance, music composition, and vocal pedagogy; audio engineering; professional mixing and mastering; and work with major labels and major label bands. About the lesson

First, we chat a bit to to understand where you're coming from and where you want to go. If you already have goals, we want to make sure we're working toward them. If you want our help developing goals, we're happy to do that. If you just want to have fun, that's great too! We just want to make sure you're getting what you're paying for, every single lesson. We also like to know what kind of training you've already had (if any), so we can build on that. And we like to hear you play or sing something so we can make a plan for what to work on first.

Our students tend to be fun people who are serious about music. We serve singers all over Colorado’s Front Range: Boulder, Denver, Longmont, Niwot, Gunbarrel, Louisville, Lafayette, Erie, Frederick, Superior, Westminster, Broomfield, Thornton, Arvada, Golden, and Fort Collins. We have also worked with students all over the world from Europe to Australia.

In Colorado, we’ve worked with members of The String Cheese Incident, Firefall, Filthy T, Pride in Pieces, Kill Paris, Hey Lady!, Roniit, Jacob Larson, Jaden Carlson, Princess, Behaving Badly, Starcar Sunday, Public Display of Aggression, Howl at the Moon piano bar, and many other bands. We have also worked with two top American Idol finalists, singers in Europe and Australia, and bands signed to labels including Atlantic, Elektra, Immortal, Wind Up, Curb, Blind Bat, S-Curve, Victory, Blues Legacy and J Records.

We have a free PDF available to help you decide which voice teacher or school is right for you. Download it from our home page. (Scroll down a bit - it's in the middle of the page.) But the biggest thing I would caution is not to pick your teacher based on price alone. You can spend much more time and money in the long run with a teacher who doesn't know what they're doing, than with a teacher who does. For example, I know a student who took a year of voice lessons with an inexpensive teacher and saw NO improvement; but then she took just a few very expensive lessons with an accomplished teacher and experienced a complete revolution vocally.

I recently found out that a client who had given up on her career - but who came to us a year ago to restart lessons and restart her career - is getting hired to play a festival outside Paris this summer! There is nothing more exciting and rewarding than seeing clients' dreams come true.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Genre is not as important as you might think, but you should probably hire a teacher who teaches popular music if you want to sing popular music (as opposed to classical music). You might want to look at whether the teacher or studio offers performance opportunities as well - and what those opportunities look like. At our studio, we book gigs for our students - real ones, not sterile "recitals." And what other services does the teacher or studio provide? We have a tiered pricing system for lessons that reflects the teacher's level of experience, length of lesson, and lesson frequency. The most cost-effective (but least flexible) lessons are the Monthly Pass options, which start at $25 per half-hour voice lesson.
