About Bryce

I've had the privelage of learning from some great and legendary guitarists in one on one lessons and masterclasses. I have been able to learn in person from guys like Steve Vai, Eric Johnson, and old blues legend Sonny Landreth (Clapton calls his hero). John Mayer was once asked about my guitar playing and he responded with "I wouldn't bother him with advice, he's on the way."

I remember learning how to play by instructors who didn't really make it fun and left me with nothing at the end of the lesson. I realized that it takes more than a guy pointing at chord charts and saying "Alright just do that one now." I learned that truly learning the guitar requires real and authentic attention to the student. Making them laugh and enjoy themselves all the while learning how to play your favorite songs on the guitar.

About the lesson

In the past I've began with asking what it is they want to be able to do on the guitar. Once they've explained their goals and aspirations, we'll move forward from there.
