Hello! I've been playing guitar for over 20 years, both as a hobby and semi-professionally. I have also been playing banjo in the clawhammer style for more than 5 years with some experience with minstrel banjo styles as well. I am patient and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you learn what you need, as well as what you want.

A conversation about goals is a good place to start. Knowing what a student wants to accomplish really makes the work of creating a lesson plan much easier. Once we decide the goals and how to achieve them, we will work together to learn the building blocks, one after another, until we start to see the foundation. Once the foundation is set, we can move forward and get into the meat and potatoes of the instrument and how to achieve those goals.
