About Carol

Founded in 2009, Pacific Institute of Music (PIOM) is a highly-rated music school in Folsom (Sacramento metro area), California. We provide lessons in all kinds of intruments including piano, violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, guitar, as well as voice, choir, theory and music/piano group lessons for kids, teens, and adults.

Our school has 3,600 sqft of music studio space with modern facility, which provides a comfortable and professional enviroment for our students. Each of our individual studios has either a new upright or grand piano, and we have a recital hall on the premises for students performances.

Our teaching philosophy merges time-honored methodology with the latest teaching concepts. We aspire to provide a well-rounded musical education, and teach with the singular goal of optimizing the learning experience of our students.

Most of our faculty have Master’s or Doctorate degrees in music performance (read more about our teachers on the Our Faculty page) who provide a friendly, professional and positive atmosphere to help our students achieve their highest goals. In addition to the best education, we also provide unparalleled performance opportunities to our students—hosting concerts at the FLC Harris Center for the Arts at least 2 times a year.

Our proprietary curriculum tailored to fit the needs of individual students, combined with our extraordinary faculty, helps students discover their artistry and build the solid musical foundation they need for future success in life.

The Heart of the Pacific Institute of Music is our instructors. Our friendly, professional staff and the positive supporting atmostphere they maintain help our students achieve their highest goals. Most of our faculty have Master's or Doctorate degrees in music performance.

About the lesson

Finding the right school and instructor is critical to an education in music. So why not try before you buy? At PIOM we offer the opportunity to take a single, trial lesson with any one of our instructors so you can know if we’re right for you.

Go to our website and fill out the form to register. Should you decide to enroll in regular classes, the fee for the trial lesson will be applied to the cost of the classes.
