Experienced tutor in Guitar in Franklin, Brian offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Our daughter loves guitar lessons w/Brian. What we love about it is that he's made it fun and interesting for her - none of the dreaded practice time we remember from music lessons long ago. She started out interested - now she's passionate about it. And she's improving all the time. To help ignite that hunger to learn - that's a sign of a gifted instructor!

Brian is very knowledgeable about music and has been an excellent guitar teacher for my 9 year old son.

Brian Emmel is a great guitar teacher! I have been taking guitar lessons from him for several years and have progressed from a total non-musician to being able to play many of my favorite songs on guitar. Brian is a professional that makes learning fun.

Goes above & beyond for his students. Great at explaining concepts for people who have no former musical training. Very flexible and laid back. Cares if his students learn. Definitely would recommend to anybody looking for guitar lessons.

My son has been taking guitar lessons for more than 5 years with Brian. He is the most patient and kind music instructor that I have met. He teaches with a serious yet comical attitude that the kids can understand. He really relates to the kids. Wyatt really enjoys his time and has advanced so much that he has moved on with Brian teaching him Music Theory.

I have been taking guitar lessons with Brian for a few years now and it's been great! I was hesitant taking guitar/music lessons for the first time as an adult, but his teaching style and tips have really helped me grow as a musician. I would highly recommend!

Brian is an awesome instructor and friend! Each week feels more like a jam session with my friend than a boring music lesson! He takes learning how to play the guitar into learning how to play the tunes that enjoy playing on my guitar every day!

Always goes above & beyond for students. Flexible with their skill level and interests, excellent at teaching the basics to people who have never had any formal music education, patient and willing to work extra with students who put in he time. He's a terrific teacher. I'd recommend him to anybody.
