About Craig
We make music FUN and can get our students playing in as little as a few lessons by teaching modern day improv technique. We can also teach traditional as well. We let our students choose which style and taylor the lessons towards their goals! (concealed information)
I love seeing our students passion for music and love when they are able to write their own music - which is what we teach them to do!! I've taught many students to do this and then they come in the studio to record it to CD. It's just awesome!! :D
I began teaching in my teens working
I have an extensive background in music, teaching, performing, working as a music director for many largeorganizations, 12 years teaching in Charter Schools, and a BA.

The first lesson is a fun overview and we figure out the students goals and the best route that will get them there. It is a fun lesson and they will leave being surprised at how much they can already play in one session!!
I've worked with students as young as three as well as all ages.
It's good to know that you dont have to go the traditional lesson route and you dont have to read music! This is the part that turns most people off from music. However if that is something you want to do we can do that too!! Also, look for a teacher that makes it fun!
We recently put together a student band to perform at a local farmers. We played classic rock songs from bon Jovi to Journey. They rocked it was awesome!
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What makes your lessons unique? How quickly can they learn the lessons? Will the teacher let the student help to decide what teaching route they do and what they do and dont want to learn etc? Many teachers dont and will even mpose stuff on the student that the student doesn't want to learn. Some will make them learn to read music (which can take months to years to learn) before allowing them to learn chords (which can take 1 lesson to learn).
