BIO

Allie’s lifelong passion has been playing and writing music since she was 7 years old. She took many years of private lessons, played in String Orchestras, Jazz bands, Concert Bands and Marching Band throughout her academic years as well as played in a rock band, and is currently working on her own solo acoustic project. She earned her Associate Degree in Music at Sierra College where she studied music theory, ear training, jazz improvisation, and music history. She then went on to study Film Scoring at Cal State Northridge for several years as well as earning certification in sound healing.

METHOD

Allie makes sure to assess each student's musical needs, desires and interests to make each lesson an enjoyable learning experience. She inspires creativity and passion for music so that students can continually progress and achieve their individual goals through use of proper technique, music theory, ear training and fundamentals. Allie always encourages students to get creative, improvise, and not only learn the songs of their favorite bands and artists but even write their own songs.

These lessons will connect with your soul by harmonizing your mind, body, and spirit with the vibrations of your instrument. Incorporating meditation and mindfulness will enhance your playing and transform your experience beyond technical skills. These lessons will help you express your heart's melodies and soul's harmonies.

About the lesson

Guitar lessons offered by Allie are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Grass Valley. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
