About Jordy
Started teaching my neighbors kids about 10 years ago to make some money when I was in highschool. I have had various students over the years on both coasts and developed many meaningful and rewarding relationships with students and teachers both.
Attended The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York City on a full scholarship. Studied closely under world class musicians and proffesors including the legendary Reggie Workman, Chris Turner, Aaron Parks, Stefon Harris, Kendrick Scott and many others. Spent many years touring, traveling and teaching with different musical acts across the country.

Mostly younger kids and college level tutoring but I am open to all ages and skill levels!
I've had enough experiences with great musicians who ended being not so great teachers to know that the most important thing is that you find a teacher who makes you feel comfortable and motivated, and pushes you in the right direction to make your own discoveries rather than force feed you a method that may or may not work for you.
