About Jade
I love working with bluegrass students specifically because that is my passion. Watching a student of mine excel in a genre of music so close to my heart is very fulfilling. I love teaching all types of music and inspiring the next generation of musicians!
I have put many hours into refining my teaching skills, read countless books, studied with experts, and learned the science behind the human brain and learning. I enjoy watching students learn to grasp concepts and have their very own "eureka" moment.
I have completed 3 years of college for music and successfully completed a Lesson Business program to certify myself as an online instructor.

Jade has given my son private mandolin lessons for quite some time now, and she is absolutely the best teacher I could have ever asked for. She is wonderful with my son, and has the patience of a saint! She uses a positive reinforcement style of teaching, which I just love, and my son really responds to this. She really goes above and beyond to not only ensure that my son learns, but also has a wonderful time in doing so. She is extremely flexible, and has bent over backwards to accommodate my son's and my schedule.
