About
Hello, my name is Kevin Scanlon. I have been teaching and performing music for the last twenty five years. I offer personalized lessons in guitar, old time banjo, harmonica, and singing catering to all skill levels. I can also help with live performance, singing and playing at the same, stage craft, and equipment choices.
I have written many songs and instrumental compositions. My music is rooted in old time, bluegrass, very early country, Celtic, and folk music. I also offer lessons in writing songs, melodies, lyrics and arrangements.
As a solo instructor, I am committed to ensuring each student receives the individual attention they deserve in a fun and encouraging way. Thank you for considering me to help you with your music.
