About Richard

I have a very unique way of tracking results and providing students a clear path in learning the guitar/fretboard. My lessons are designed to be fun without sacrificing the educational factor. You can expect lessons tailored to your specific needs and wants. I track all lessons and provide the student with learning resources I can guarantee no other teachers use.

I take pride in teaching guitarists of all levels how to be the best they can be. With my rock solid, innovative, tested and refined teaching methods; I am confident I can and will help you acheive your desired playing level.

I take pride in delivering results. Whether you're looking to make a career or just learn how to play some of your favorite songs as a hobby, I know exactly how to help students achieve these goals. It is very enjoyable for me to watch students start off with the "just for fun" mentality and then surprise themselves into a deep passion to study the guitar.

I started teaching by helping younger students when I was in high-school. After I graduated, I worked as a guitar teach for Ibanez Guitars at Hoshino USA in PA. I began my teaching business at 25 and have been teaching full time for the past 15 years.

I have formal training in my field along with hands-on experience working with beginner guitar students that goes all the way back to my high-school years. My background has equipped me with both the technical knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual needs.

About the lesson

I begin with a brief assessment to understand the student’s goals, strengths, and learning style. From there, I create a personalized plan and adjust each session based on progress, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning experience.

I’ve worked with students of various ages, backgrounds, and skill levels—from beginners to more advanced learners—adapting my approach to meet each individual’s goals.

Look for someone who listens to your goals, communicates clearly, and creates a comfortable learning environment. A good teacher should not only be knowledgeable but also supportive and adaptable.
