I started teaching when my now college grad daughter wanted to play the trumpet in elementary school. I've been playing trumpet for decades, so great choice! She kicked butt and others at school wanted to know how she got so good? I'm not taking all the credit because she really wanted to play and not "mess up". She didn't.

About the lesson

I truly enjoy working with students at all levels, from little to no experience, to an advanced student. Let's get it right the first time.

My typical process of working with a student is to evaluate where they're at and move on from there.

You'll learn a LOT, while having fun.

I'm a hard-bop trumpet player, but enjoy teaching all kinds of music.
