About Angela
I do my very best to taylor my lessons to the students needs. I know that every person's needs are not exactly the same, so I make sure that my lessons adapt to the student.
For my music classes: I have played the piano for 38 years and I went to State and Nationals when I was in high school. As an adult I have taught lessons and music for over 20 years. I have played the guitar for 22 years and love working with first year students.
For my education classes: I love being a teacher. I have taught for almost 20 years and it is my passion. I love working one-on-one with students to help them truly understand a subject that once was a struggle. I have my Bachelor's in Biology, my Masters in Teacher Education, and my Doctorate in Educational leadership. I also scored in the top 1% of the ACT and have helped students improve their SAT and ACT scores by several points.
I love helping people reach their goals. Whether it is an A in a class or learning how to play their favorite song. I will work with the student to develop a plan to help them reach their goals.

For music lessons, I like to find out what the student's goals are and where they are at. I typically work with piano students and guitar players that are just starting out.
For subject tutoring, I have been and educator for over 20 years. I have taught every grade level from kindergarten to doctoral level. I want to make sure the student is the center of the lesson. I find out what they need and how they learn best and adapt my lessons accordingly.
