About Pablo

Greetings! I have been playing guitar for 20 years. I play like Jimi Hendrix, upside down and backwards as well as right side up. Makes for a unique take on music composition and performance. Looking forward to making great music and cocreating Harmony with you.

Music is my favorite language. It dissolves all kind of boundaries and allows for a more honest communication than just using words. Your feeling and emotion gets translated into notes. I believe in Melody and Harmony ☺️

Seemed like a natural progression. Skills, scales, progressions, songs, start accumulating in the musical arsenal. And then you get to share it. People listen and if they like what they hear and how the music makes them feel, then they want to learn how the song or how a part goes and I was happy to oblige. Seeing or hearing a student spreading their musical wings is rewarding. And to see or hear sombody play their heart out is both inspiring and uplifting for everybody.

I have been a lifelong student of music. Constantly learning and evolving as a guitar player, singer songwriter and performer. I picked up the guitar when I was 15 and never looked back. I have played all over NYC (and across the US) in varied projects as well as with solo work. Looking forward to sharing experience, expertise and musical insights with you.

About the lesson

I like to delineate goals and aspirations with each student. Every student is unique, and he/she arrives for lessons with a particular set of abilities and background. By establishing clear communication and trust we can be en route to meeting and surpassing goals and good music gets made.

I have worked with students from all walks of life, as young as 10 and adults as well. All types of abilities are welcome. That is one of the great things about NYC. you meet everybody from everywhere. And then we write a song about it :)

Im here to meet your needs. Find out what sings to your heart. Ask yourself what feels good musically and how you would like to express that. I will meet you where you are, musically, and we'll embark on a journey, where your song gets sung.

I was in South America, playing at an outdoor festival. People dancing and singing along to the music. That is an awesome sight.

Details

A standard 60 minute session is $60. Every student is unique with their own set of requirements. I like to discuss, one on one, how to best meet those requirements, given a particular time frame, the students abilities and budget.
